The Cheekbone Enhancement Procedure
During your consultation, our board-certified surgeons will work with you to create a customized treatment plan to achieve your goals most optimally. Your cheek implants can be performed under local anesthesia or with IV sedation. A small incision is made inside your mouth, between the upper lip and gum and on each side of the nose for the placement of each cheek implant. The cheekbone area is exposed and the implant chosen for you is placed against your facial bones and fixed in place. Once complete healing has occurred, it is very difficult to feel the cheek implants. The implant is not mobile and cannot be dislodged, even with facial trauma.
Customizing You Cheekbone Enhancement
Cheekbone enhancement or cheek implant surgery is a procedure to give you high cheekbones. Our board-certified surgeons use the most advanced techniques to enhance your cheekbones while maintaining a natural look. Your surgeon can help you choose the right implant to address your unique anatomy to meet your cheekbone enhancement goals. For a completely customized cheekbone enhancement, your experienced surgeon can also tailor the placement of the cheek implants.
Recovery & Results
Our team will discuss all aspects of your procedure and recovery during your consultation. Following the surgery, there will be incisions inside the mouth with some small, dissolvable sutures. Good oral hygiene, limiting diet to soft foods, and rinsing with antiseptic mouthwash following meals can help assure a quick healing process. Some mild swelling and bruising are expected. Head elevation and cool compresses on your cheeks will help limit swelling. The intra-oral incision typically heals within seven days. *
* Individual results and recovery may vary.
